ValueCentric Launches Specialty Patient Journey Reporting for Field Sales Teams
ORCHARD PARK, NY — April 16, 2018 – ValueCentric, innovators in specialty product and patient analytics, today announced the launch of Patient Journey Field Sales Reporting. The service brings their industry leading patient analytics to the hands of field sales representatives for improved visibility and speed of access to patient journey data. ValueCentric’s platform, ValueTrak, provides specialty data aggregation, monitoring, patient analytics, and specialty pharmacy scorecarding to market access and patient care groups at leading Specialty manufacturers. The field sales innovation provides the same de-identified patient data to field sales teams to ensure proper monitoring of patient activities to help speed time to therapy.
The field sales reports provide access to the patient journey including related physicians and payers within the associated territory. Armed with this information, representatives gain a complete picture of patient activity within their territory or district. For patients stalled in a particular status, users can take action by calling the physician, or working with the appropriate internal patient care teams to assist the patient in their journey. The suite of reports, which are also mobile optimized for on-the-road usage, provide exception-based views to clearly identify issues affecting patient access, such as unsuccessful enrollments or excessive patient status aging.
“Traditionally, field sales representatives have gained access to patient activity via the portals provided by Hubs and Specialty Pharmacies. This requires reps to access half a dozen portals or more across their territory with distorted visibility if a Hub and Pharmacy is reporting on the same patient,” explained John Giannouris, Vice President of Specialty Pharma Services for ValueCentric. “Utilizing the patient journey reporting in ValueTrak, reps gain an aggregate view of all patient activity across their territory and a single point of access for both field sales and home office users. The value of looking at the same, cleansed data across a business is extremely helpful to keeping patients on therapy and reducing time spent in a ‘pending’ or ‘hold’ status,” said Giannouris.
The Patient Journey Field Sales reports are configurable according to customer needs and include details such as patient status overviews and trends, patient enrollment, and status/sub-status reporting. Leveraging ValueCentric’s patient de-identification capabilities, manufacturers can maintain the longitudinal integrity of the patient information and track patients moving between the Hub and the Pharmacy. Many reports also have drill-in capabilities allowing for further investigation of a particular physician and patient status to help patients overcome hurdles to receiving care quickly and efficiently.
