ValueCentric, LLC is the market leader in providing data management and performance
analytics to the pharmaceutical industry. We are currently seeking a strong and
experienced individual for the position of Product Manager, Prescription Information
Specialist. This position will be responsible for developing and managing the
internal relationships between Product Management and sales/marketing, customer
implementation/support and the development organization, specializing in prescription-centric
products in the ValueTrak product portfolio. As our product portfolio continues
to expand, we seek an experienced professional who brings prescription/patient data
expertise to the Product Management team. The position supports ValueTrak’s suite
of services for our world-class pharmaceutical customers who include: AstraZeneca,
Bayer Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Schering-Plough, and others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the requirements gathering process specific to prescription-centric ValueTrak
products/modules; getting input from customers, prospects, sales, training,
implementation, support and the executive team.
Participate in the product launch process, including defining and tracking
schedules, preparing and publishing product launch and new release feature
materials for training and support.
As an advocate for the prescription ValueTrak products, participate in regular
meetings to discuss and communicate the prioritization and status of product
development.
Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to create product-specific
marketing messages as well as white papers, marketing collateral, and product
information presentations.
Participate in any efforts to utilize external prescription data partners and
vendors to impact or enhance current or future deliverables.
Work with Business Development to gather and analyze competitive offerings
related to new opportunities for prescription reporting and analysis.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with high academic achievement.
Master’s degree a plus.
Business analysis or consulting experience with prescription-centric pharmaceutical
data from one or many of the available data vendors in the industry.
Prior experience in a product or program management position would be considered
a significant asset.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Travel requirements are minimal.
Required skills include strong verbal and written communications as well as implementation planning and tracking.
