Opening Remarks and ValueCentric Update – Dave Janca



FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING TRACK:

ValueTrak 101 and the Importance of Data and Measures:
In this session we focus on the data – what each measure means, why it is important (or maybe not as important) as you use it on a day-to-day basis. Open discussion is encouraged as users talk about their own real-world scenarios. Also covered in the session will be a very high level overview of ValueTrak itself and the various places a user can go to access all the data.

Data Visualization 1:
Get the lay-of-the-land on the Data Visualization Builder, as well as simple data outputs. Learn how differences in the Filters and Pivot Setup will affect your report. Talk about basic features in the Data Visualization workbook such as the Data Table (Grid), Charts, and Summary Tab.

Data Visualization 2:
After learning the basics, attend this session to learn some advanced features. Discover and utilize the various features of the reporting tool to make your reporting as dynamic as you wish. Items to be covered include: Conditional Formatting, Output Sorting, Datasource Export, Advanced Charting, and more.

MODULE-BASED TRAINING TRACK:

ValueTrak Module Review:
Are you convinced there are additional ways to leverage your data assets, but not sure where to start? This session covers a high level overview of some of the most popular add-on modules ValueTrak has to offer to help solve your current business needs. Learn how cutting edge manufacturers have leveraged their data beyond standard 852/867 ValueTrak reporting.

Specialty Solutions:
This information and overview session covers the unique nature of specialty product distribution and how ValueTrak’s Specialty Module can help your company track and maintain business. It will include coverage of specialty module reports, and data validation scorecard snapshots.

Scorecard:
Trouble with your Trading Partners? Want to hold a stronger hand when it comes to their performance reviews? Do you just want to understand and have statistics on their overall performance? This session will cover ValueTrak’s built-in Scorecard platform as well options available to companies with robust scorecarding needs.

ROLE-BASED TRAINING TRACK:

Admin Maintenance:
We’ll cover the 4-M’s of Admin Maintenance (Maintenance, Master Data, Manage User Accounts & Manage Other) with specific focus on the Maintenance Bin and 852 Discontinued SKU report. Learn about all of the responsibilities of an admin user and the importance of the role in keeping the data flowing and account access open within ValueTrak.

New Product Launch:
Focus on reports important to your organization during a new product launch – with discussion as to why they are important. How will your reporting differ 3 weeks into your launch as compared to 6 months in? Learn and build during this hands-on session.

Generics:
There are differences between the way branded and generic pharma companies go about doing their business with Trading Partners. This session focuses on the issues specific to generic manufacturers and how ValueTrak reports address those needs. Open discussion among attendees is encouraged.

Our FAQ session will cover common questions you may have in regards to data and reporting in ValueTrak. Explore topics such as blocked/blinded data as well as common channel metrics. Open forum is encouraged, and a general Q&A will be offered, as time permits.

Report Manager & Dashboards:
Get the lay-of-the-land on the Data Visualization Builder, as well as simple data outputs. Learn how differences in the Filters and Pivot Setup will affect your report. Talk about basic features in the Data Visualization workbook such as the Data Table (Grid), Charts, and Summary Tab.As a ValueTrak user, you have created the perfect report, now what? In this session, learn about how to go about setting up simple or complex schedules for automating your reports, as well as setting it up for display right on your desktop as you log into ValueTrak.

Exceptions & Ad Hoc Reporting:
When Data Visualization doesn’t offer the exact report or output you’re looking for, try Exception Reporting or Ad Hoc. Within Exception Reporting you will learn about the available exceptions and how to call out the outliers most important to you. Within the Ad Hoc Reporting option, you will learn more about the tool that allows a deep dive into data and building the most granular reports possible.

MODULE-BASED TRAINING TRACK:

Order Management:
Information session on the ValueTrak Advanced Order Management module including the processes for receiving, analyzing, and releasing orders as well as the reports that can help you with the process. Learn about setting up parameters to hold, adjust, or process orders based on your specific criteria.

Market Visibility, PharmacyView, and Store Level Inventory reporting:
The concepts behind Market Visibility, Retail Store Level Inventory, Channel Inventory and Pharmacy View are simple: Move beyond the basics of 852 and 867 and into a more expanded view of your marketplace. This information session covers a bit more detail of each one of the add-on modules.

ROLE-BASED TRAINING TRACK:

Finance Users:
In this problem and solution formatted session, you will learn how to leverage traditional data sets to provide financial insights. Discover new ways to analyze sales data to empower and streamline workflows, as well as how chargeback and sales data align to solve challenges with reserves calculations.

Sales/Marketing Users:
In this problem and solution formatted session, see the value in downstream market visibility. Learn how to analyze top customers, and drive profitability using these new insights. Discover new ways to use traditional data in non-traditional ways to embolden field teams with new target opportunities.

Trade Users:
This problem-solution formatted session will focus on the common uses of channel data. Learn how to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for distributor partner performance. Discover optimal analysis techniques to gain efficiency in your distribution channel.
