Design Analyst
ValueCentric, LLC. is the market leader in providing real-time data management and performance analytics to the pharmaceutical industry. Our rapidly expanding list of clients includes such world-class pharmaceutical companies as: Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Bayer Healthcare and Procter & Gamble. We are currently seeking Design Analyst to join our team to support the ongoing design and development of ValueCentric's ValueTrak suite of products.
The Design Analyst will provide and advise on solutions that enable ValueCentric to maximize the effectiveness of its application, ValueTrak. This position will help manage the planning, requirements gathering, design, development, implementation and quality of the application. The individual will be engaged in assisting the Research & Development and Testing teams to help introduce new enhancements in addition to refining and automating existing functionality.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Identify, design and implement, with the assistance of other Research and Development team members, new technologies to improve the ValueTrak solution and enhance value for our customers.
- Identify software gaps to business functionality requirements, identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
- Participate in the process of defining customer requirements and documenting associated application functional requirements.
- Audit and monitor system designs to ensure that standard solution design supports the application of industry-accepted best practices.
- Utilize project management disciplines including ensuring establishment of objectives & detailed business requirements, definition of interim and end-state deliverables, milestones, target dates, management of interdependencies, ensuring ongoing management commitment and other associated tasks as necessary.
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical field with 1 to 3+ years of systems analysis, project management or product management experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills in order to build and foster both internal and customer relationships.
- Ability to handle fluctuating workloads, conflicting priorities and concurrent activities.
- Work well with diverse groups of people with a clear vision of customer and industry needs.
- Ability to gain an understanding of key players, market dynamics, trends, issues, and vision for the future as related to our business.
Pluses:
- Possess rudimentary technical understanding of web application and database architecture.
- Experience working in the Pharmaceutical supply chain would be beneficial.
- Basic SQL query knowledge, EDI translation systems or working knowledge of SAP is not mandatory but would be considered an asset.
