ValueCentric, LLC is an exciting software company that delivers a web-based inventory management and analysis application for the pharmaceutical industry. We are currently providing services to companies like Johnson & Johnson and Roche Pharmaceuticals with contracts 3-5 years in length. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, self-starter Business Consultant who will be responsible for identifying prospective customers� needs, performing business opportunity assessments, and presenting data services solutions via web meetings and on-site presentations/demonstrations. Candidates should also possess the following:

  • Ability to understand prospective customers� business environments and assess their needs for data services.
  • Deliver ValueTrak presentations and demonstrations that effectively illustrate the value and benefits of proposed solutions.
  • Develop and present business cases that delineate specific benefits and the return on investment that are attainable through the use of ValueTrak data services.
  • As key member of sales team, support account management and be responsive to customer needs; follow through on all aspects of requests for information, both written and verbal.
  • Create and maintain ValueTrak presentation material and case studies that showcase clients� successes.
  • Provide the sales and management teams feedback on market dynamics and solution / services requirements.
  • Required to attend and support sales/marketing efforts at trade shows and conferences, both educational and customer oriented.
  • Responsible for meeting annual sales quota as determined by ValueCentric�s management team.
  • Travel is a requirement of the position.

Qualifications/Training:

  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Must be a proficient communicator and listener.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Above average computer skills, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor�s degree in Business/Technical or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Experience in sales of software applications, hosted solutions preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain an asset.
